Jessica works to help early-stage companies grow. She advises on entity structure and formative business considerations, founder vesting issues and equity financing, first hires and international contractors, trademarking, and Internet law compliance. Her experience lies in representing tech and media companies, internet-based startups, fashion curators, app makers, video game creators, artists, and photographers. She has a particular soft spot for socially conscious companies, Benefit Corporations (or those who want to become B-Corps!) and women-owned businesses. In addition to her commitment to her clients, she is the Lead Counsel to a virtual accelerator, Travel Startups Incubator.

Jessica graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as an Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. She was a member of the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic (BLIP), a full-service, pro bono program providing legal counsel to entrepreneurs involved in creative and non-profit endeavors. She is licensed in New York and New Jersey, and is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association.

Jessica is also a Co-Founder of GroupMinded, a new kind of company that is part crowdsourced startup, part social experiment.
